September 13, 2018, Richmond – Chenault Vineyards are pleased to announce the grand opening of their new restaurant, Chenault Vineyards Restaurant, tomorrow, Friday, September 14 at 4pm.
The vineyards, located on nearly 500 acres on Barnes Mill Road, will feature full brunch and fall menus, specials, and live music by local duo Whiskey River over the grand opening weekend.
Chenault Vineyards has built an eclectic menu featuring an array of local and southern flavors, including made-from-scratch appetizers, sandwiches, soups, salads, entrees and desserts. A kid’s menu is available, and a craft cocktail menu is coming soon. Her menus feature playful and unique items like gourmet omelets, rosemary and roasted grape flatbread, a bourbon bacon burger, berries and cream French toast, grilled romaine salad, Athenian chicken and Southern shrimp and grits.
Our restaurant staff insists on using local ingredients whenever possible, pulling produce and herbs from her on-site garden, as well as the vineyards’ grapes and wines to use in her dishes. The restaurant also uses items from local businesses like Purdy’s Coffee, Dreaming Creek Brewery, Weisenberger Mills, and Minerich Farms.
The restaurant’s hours are Thursday and Friday 4-9pm, Saturday 11-9pm and Sunday 11-3pm. Inside and outdoor dining is available. Reservations are encouraged for parties of six or more.
