Being a Plant Parent for Beginners

Learn the ins & outs of caring for your plants and get your hands dirty potting plants in this hands-on learning experience!
$50 per participant – fee includes instruction by Tricia Pence, four 2″ plants to repot, four pots of your choice from inventory provided, dirt, care cards per plant, and one glass of wine.

2. Pests how to find and fight them
3. How to read a care card
4. The green house soil vs well drainage soil
5. Root rot and how to keep it from spreading
• How to identify your plants needs
1. Find water storage in a plants anatomy
2. Easy way to be able to tell what type of light your plant needs
3. Watering schedule and how to tell when to water your plant
4. How often and when to fertilize your plants
***This is a hands on dig in the dirt class we will be mixing our own dirt for your plants and repotting plants, your hands will be dirty by the end of class. You will not be provided garden gloves or a small shovel. you are welcome to bring your own if you wish***
