Preferred Vendors

These are folks we’ve worked with before who know our venue and are the ultimate wedding professionals. Couples are allowed to use vendors that are not on this list as long as they have completed the application process, submitted the necessary paperwork and are approved by Chenault Vineyards no later than 60 days prior to the event.

To become approved, vendors must read and sign our rules and regulations thereby acknowledging that they understand what is expected of them when they are contracted to work on the property, complete a vendor description, submit five event references, and submit proof of business license and all applicable insurance.

Wedding Information

We know that planning a wedding involves so much attention to detail. That’s why we offer all the fine print up front here to help answer your questions as best we can and ensure your day is perfect. Please fill out our Wedding Inquiry Form under the Weddings tab to get started on planning your dream wedding at our vineyards.

Tours of our expansive vineyards are dependent upon our staff availability and Vineyard operations, but please call us at 859.328.7773 or email to set the date and time. Be sure to fill out our Wedding Inquiry form and provide a few possible dates and times in the ‘additional information’ space provided.  We encourage you to taste our wines when you come for a tour, or enjoy lunch or dinner at our cafe.

We don’t place holds on dates, as reservations are on a first come, first-served basis. To secure your event date, we’ll need a signed contract and deposit.  [WEDDING INQUIRY FORM]

We are a Vineyard and hey, we are passionate about our wine. The laws and licenses governing the use of alcohol on our property are pretty strict. All alcohol for your event is provided by and purchased from Chenault Vineyards, and we don’t allow outside alcohol on property. If outside alcohol is found, you’ll be fined $500. No alcohol can leave the facility, except your unopened bottles of Chenault Vineyards wine.

We’ll discuss and finalize your alcohol order 60 days prior to your event. Payment is needed before the order is placed.

We can accommodate both cash and open bars. We stock cash bars with in-house alcohol options. If you’d like an item that we don’t carry, we can special order it but it must be paid for in advance. We can also charge on consumption for regular inventory items. Our house wines and liquors are sold by the bottle.

Alcohol service stops at 11:00PM unless otherwise specified in your Agreement.

This is your big day, and we wouldn’t dream of you doing anything but walking down the aisle together as happy newlyweds. So, we require an event coordinator for our events. Couples may choose to assign someone this duty, or you can hire our on-site event professional. We’ll need your event coordinator to sign a list of duties and our rules and regulations acknowledging they understand their responsibilities to you and Chenault Vineyards. The event coordinator needs to meet with Chenault Vineyards with the bride at the 60 day prior to the wedding meeting.

Couples or their Event Coordinator are responsible for setup/breakdown unless otherwise specified by Chenault Vineyards. Cheanult Vineyards will set up the tables and chairs provided they are given a map of the layout as required 60 days prior to the wedding. The Event Coordinator will be given a code to the gate to be able to arrive on property to let the couple and vendors in for setup no earlier than 8AM the morning of the event.

The venue must be cleaned and returned to its original state with all vendors and guests departed by 12AM. We suggest to close the bar by 11PM so that all are gone and cleaned by 12AM. If there is not another event scheduled the day before or the day after the event, you may purchase additional time to set up the day before or clean up the day after the event.

Insurance is required for all events on property (except for those events held in the Welcome Center). You must name Chenault Vineyards, Big Valley Land Company LLC, and Chenault Land and Cattle as additional insured.

Insurance for rain: you can purchase insurance in case of rain if you are having your ceremony outdoors and Chenault Vineyards will have another venue ready in case of rain. There is no refunds if not used.

Security is required for all events on property except for those held in the Welcome Center and is provided with rental of a venue package.

A damage deposit of $250.00 is to be paid with the initial deposit of the venue. There is no refund on the deposit if there are damages, theft or breach of contract.
